Of all my case designs this is the most historically oriented.
In spite of the imposing 15' height this really is just a practice organ of four ranks. It features suspended
mechanical action, wedge bellows and carved pipe shades. The client requested the
concave, radiating AGO style pedal board to facilitate her playing of other organs.
We built every part of the organ except the metal pipes,
blower and small action parts. We made the keyboards similar to the
manner described in Dom
Bedos. The case is
constructed of Honduras Mahogany and the pipe shades are of white oak.
