St. Anthony's Church (R.C.) Upland, California.  Opus 8, 1981. Suspended mechanical action.
Facade pipes of copper.

I designed this case in a distinctly twentieth century style, with Brustwerk below the main case. The Brustwerk is fronted not by doors but with a "nag's head" swell wherein one set of wide slats can slide behind another stationary set, thus opening or closing the openings between the slats.

The pipe shades are perhaps my most original contribution to this design. A double set of concentric wooden parabolic curves hang behind  the pipes attached to vertical strips. The curves are painted in a rainbow of subtly differentiated pastel colors chosen to harmonize with the white
oak case, the copper pipes and the color scheme of the church.
