This minimal sized organ contains only flute
pipes and has no need of stop action or
couplers. Manuel Rosales wanted a design
with no facade pipes and only small and subtle
tone openings. Thus the appearance would
have to depend on its success purely as a
piece of furniture like the old cabinet organs.                          I felt that most practice organs I had seen
looked too wide and ill-proportioned. The
problem is that the width of wind chests must
be allowed for even if the height has to be kept
to about eight feet or less. My solution was to
frame the console area to the full height of the
organ, bringing this forward around the keyboards
and music rack. On each side there is a panel
receding at forty five degrees to the section which
contains the wind chests and pipes. This creates
a strong vertical effect and three dimensional
interest to compensate for the lack of a pipe
facade as a focal point.

This view, with the rear panels removed, shows the pipes and windchests.  The blower is in the box which sits behind the organ.
